INTIMACY

How close do you allow yourself to be to others?

Do you feel safe? Your walls or theirs? Both? If not, is your fear rational? Where does it come from? Can you feel it? identify it? How does it show up in your body? Can you sense it's texture? How does it affect your breathing? Can you be with it, even for a moment? Can you muster up the courage to share what you find with your journal, a close friend?

YOU ARE WORTHY OF THE GREATEST, DEEPEST LOVE, YOU ARE WORTHY OF HONEST OPEN AND REAL RELATIONSHIPS

Every relationship chosen is a work in progress, an ebb and flow, a unique and divine mirror and wellspring, EVER BRIMMING with potentiality, as long as both individuals commit to and agree upon the tenets of true friendship. And the reality is, not everyone will choose to go on this journey with you, and you will not choose to go on this journey with everyone. Which makes the mutual choice all the more sacred.

What relationships in your life, right now, have the opportunity to really come alive with the invitation of this deeper intimacy?

MEDITATION 101, TOTAL TRANSFORAMTION

Today, do you want to learn about your mind? Do you want to understand how it works?

With a light spirit, perhaps even with a sense of humor, can you observe how the mind moves? How it shifts about? Can you just watch? Without needing to change this process, just observe? I won't tell you what happens, because I could never know the result. It will be entirely unique to you, what you find will be very personal. But one thing I can tell you is that you will learn about how your mind functions, which is one of the greatest evolutionary tools offered to us.

Do you understand how powerful that is? To learn about how your mind functions? To view the patterns?

How can you help yourself if you are totally unaware of how you see this world, totally unaware of the inner dialogue going on?

You do not have to sit in a meditation pose in a beautiful place or a yoga studio to practice this. You can practice this throughout the day, no matter what you are doing, no matter where you are or who you are with. You can practice. And why do I call this practice? Because it is a process that unfolds before you. You don't need to go into it wanting to change, in fact, wanting to change or be someone different is a form of violence, for you are not accepting what and who you are totally.

So, can you sit, with a true sense of curiosity, and innocence, not knowing what you will find, and observe, accepting who and what you are, totally? Accepting what you discover, totally. Which is love. To accept totally, and be in full attention, in the deepest awareness, this is love.

And it is through this loving acceptance, and through the practice of observing what is happening, and understanding, that true transformation will occur. By merely watching, observing, with deep presence, with this understanding, with this awareness, a transformation already has occurred. Without trying to change anything, a deep transformation has occurred.

And it's never finished. There is always something new to learn, to see, to gain insight upon.

It is so efficient, to watch the mind work. You can just continue your life, not really understanding why you think and feel the way that you do, at the mercy of your perceptions, emotions, perspectives, programming, OR you can stop, and observe, totally, with all of your being, what is actually happening.

It is so simple. With all of your attention, (love), and without wanting to change or be anything different than what you are, total transformation occurs.
